Are you ready to unlock your wanderlust and embark on a journey of cultural discovery and personal growth? Look no further than a platform created by a seasoned traveller who has explored 137 countries and lived in 17. Me!

I'm in my early 50s and still travelling 35 years later

Hi, I’m Sejn Eran, the Worn In Nomad. If you’re reading this, you’ve probably got a bit of wanderlust - a desire to see the world, experience new cultures, and live a life full of adventure. I get it. I’ve been on the road for 35 years, exploring 137 countries and living in 17.

My journey has taught me so much about the world, and I want to share it with you.

But it hasn’t always been easy. Travelling the world for so long has its ups and downs, just like anything in life. I’ve had to adapt to new places, overcome challenges, and sometimes face fear head-on. But each experience has shaped me into who I am today, and it’s been worth every step. Now, I’m here to help you unlock your wanderlust and find your place in this big, beautiful world.

The Call to Adventure

My adventure started when I was 18 years old. I didn’t know exactly what I was looking for, but I knew that I had to see more of the world. At that age, I was full of curiosity and excitement, and I just needed to get out there. The first few trips were exciting, but I quickly realized that it wasn’t just about seeing famous landmarks or ticking off a checklist of countries. It was about the people, the culture, and the feeling of freedom.

I’ve wandered through the bustling markets in Morocco, hiked the Andes in South America, and even found quiet moments in the deserts of Egypt. Each place I visited taught me something new - about myself, about the world, and about what it truly means to live life to the fullest.

Finding Home in the Journey

One of the biggest lessons I’ve learned from travelling is that home isn’t always where you think it is. For a long time, I was searching for something I couldn’t put into words. I was bouncing from country to country, hoping to find that perfect place. And then, one day, I realized that home wasn’t just a place - it was a feeling.

I’ve travelled to 137 countries, but it wasn’t until I found Serbia that I truly felt at home. Maybe you’ve felt the same way - like you’re searching for something, but you’re not sure what. It’s not always easy to explain, but I promise you, it’s out there. You just need to know where to look and be open to what the journey will teach you along the way.

Overcoming the Challenges of Travel

Of course, not every part of travelling is easy. I’ve had my fair share of challenges—like getting lost in a new city, dealing with language barriers, or even facing health scares. But it’s in those difficult moments that you learn the most about yourself.

When I was diagnosed with cancer and lupus nephritis, I didn’t know what the future would hold. But I didn’t let that stop me from continuing my journey. Instead, it changed my perspective. I started to focus on what truly mattered: living with purpose, embracing every moment, and finding joy in the small things.

If I can face challenges like that and keep going, so can you. Whatever you’re dealing with in your life right now, I’m here to tell you that travel can be the key to unlocking your resilience. It might not be easy, but it’s worth it.

The Power of Traveling Solo

One of the things that has shaped me the most is travelling solo. It’s an experience that forces you to rely on yourself, face your fears, and learn to navigate the world on your terms. Some people are afraid to travel alone, but I encourage you to give it a try. It’s one of the most empowering things you can do for yourself.

Travelling solo has taught me how to listen to my instincts, trust myself, and make decisions that align with my goals and values. It’s helped me become the person I am today - someone who isn’t afraid to go after what I want, no matter how big the dream.
